Other Lives

Crossover between the Rockman DASH! series and the X series. This is based on entirely unsubstantiated theories about how the series connect together, of course (though Capcom has said that all the Rockman series, save for the EXE series) are connected. How so, well, your guess is as good as mine.

I DO see similarites between the appearance of Zero and The Master (I don't remember a name actually being given to him) despite their totally different personalities. Rockman Volnutt/Trigger is of course, X. In *theory* the X series came some time before the DASH series.

Poor Trigger is so much in the dark about his own life (both incarnations), and in his dream/recollection about his life with The Master before died, The Master was always so patient in answering Trigger's questions, talking at length about a lot... I always imagined that maybe The Master was an incarnation of Zero after the Zero series (though don't ask me to explain how a reploid became the last true human alive...) and remembered everything and confided in Trigger about his past, including their lives as Maverick Hunters. Oooh, that would make for an interesting doujinshi.

Media: Ink and screentone. Some sharpie markers used to correct the black background. Photoshop almost died on me since I had to scan at such a high resolution (for the screentones) and then scale it down after converting it back to color. O_O
